Overall, I have restarted my computer and reinstalled Anaconda numerous times and nothing has worked. ![]() I have also tried to locate them through the Command Prompt but they are not there either. I understand that they are supposed to be available through the start menu after installation, but they are not. I also cannot use Anaconda Prompt or Anaconda Navigator. I just upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and wondered if I should update my version of Anaconda (installed in December 2020). The new windows terminal allows us to customize in a bunch of different ways. I restarted my computer and tried it again - did not work. This is a short hack if youre working with Anaconda environment on Windows. Installing MBsysPy requires an up-to-date version of pip: pip install -U pip. I then manually attempted to add the following paths to my PATH environment variable (for both user and system variables): C:\ProgramData\Anaconda3 For windows you can install Anaconda, remember to take the Python 3. I uninstalled and reinstalled and selected the checkbox during the setup wizard to “add Anaconda to my PATH environment variable” and I still received the same error message when using the command prompt to locate Anaconda. (I also tried to install for “just my user” but it didn’t help.) ![]() This question was kind of answered here and here as well but I thought I'd share my answer as it refers to Anaconda's. ![]() WinSCP supports natively keeping a remote directory up to date function thanks to a possibility to get notified by Windows (as a local operating system) about changes in a local directory. BTW more on how/why Windows set this up this way can be found here. This script periodically synchronizes changes from the remote server to a local directory. I installed Anaconda for all users and it lives in this path: C:\ProgramData\Anaconda3 Go into windows Settings>Apps>Apps Execution Alias and toggle off App Installer (python.exe) and App Installer (python3.exe). As of Anaconda Distribution 2022.05, the option to add Anaconda to the PATH environment variable during an All Users installation has been disabled. Note the -c in -c conda-forge means channel. For NCO, that will look like this: conda install -c conda-forge nco. And from here, you can install the package you want within it. I downloaded the 64 bit graphical installer for Python 3.7. Once the environment is created, activate it by typing: source activate ncostable. I am having trouble getting the Anaconda distribution to function properly on my Windows 10 computer (64 bit).
